The orchestra and conductor Osmo Vänskä have been getting stunning international praise for their first Beethoven CD which came out a couple months ago. For the next two weeks, they're burrowing into more Beethoven in a series of concerts that should be just as exciting as the new CD. This Friday night: Beethoven Symphonies 1 and 3.
